Haven't updated the weblog for a long time and lots of interesting as well as frustrating moments have passed. Lets see if I can recall those moments and write briefly about them.
Went to the Coex aquarim and had dinner at KFC with Soni. This was how we celebrated the new year. The pictures are in the photo gallery
I had 5 days holiday (including the weekend) starting Jauary 21; Korean Lunar new year. On the 24th Soni and I went to Seoul Grand Park. It took us about 45 minutes to reach there by subway. A brief description of the visit is available in Soni's site
Valentine's day: On my way back home I had bought chocolate for Soni and did not mention anything till the next day (14th). I was unaware that she had done the same. In the morning of Valentine's day she came to my room and we exchanged our gift. It was interesting, both of us had bought gifts but acted indifferent toward the event until the last moment. Obviously we spent the whole day eating chocolate and had dinner at a restaurant in Gangnam. The food at the restaurant was similar to Nepali daal bhat tarkari.
Feb. 20: Had planned to visit Chonan and celebrate Bodh Dai's graduation, but due to a tight deadline of a project I could not attend the celebration.
Feb. 26: Went to the University and registered for this semeste's courses. Didn't take time as the form had to be filled in Korean. Just selected the courses and Sally did the rest. Thank you Sally.
Mar. 2: Start of 2nd semester. Have registered 4 courses this semester. Lectures are in Korean. Feeling sleepy and frustrated during the class. Once again started to have thoughts as to why I chose to study in Korea. Self consolation - refer to the English version of the course books.
Mar. 20: Met Mrs. Olivia for the second time and had lunch in a Vitamese restaurantwith. Had met her for the first time in August 2003.
Apr. 17: Went to Megabox, Coex mall to watch Jersey Girl with Soni and Ji Hyun. Ji Hyun is my school friend and we spent the whole day in the Mall. Had a reallly great time.
